CRO · Conversion Rate Optimization

Turn the traffic you already have into customers.

You are paying for visitors through SEO and ads — but most of them leave without buying, booking or calling. Conversion Rate Optimization is the post-click layer that fixes that: we study how real users behave, find what blocks them, and test changes until more of the same traffic converts. No extra ad spend required.

In one paragraph

What is Conversion Rate Optimization?

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) is the practice of increasing the share of website visitors who take a desired action — buy, book, call or submit a form — without needing more traffic. It works by researching how real users behave (analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, surveys), forming hypotheses about what stops them, and testing changes to copy, layout, forms, page speed and trust signals through A/B or multivariate experiments. Winning variations are kept, losers are discarded, and the cycle repeats. CRO is the post-click counterpart to SEO and ads: those channels bring people to the page, CRO makes more of them convert. One honest caveat: reliable A/B testing needs enough traffic and conversions to reach statistical significance, so for lower-traffic sites we start with research-led, best-practice fixes rather than formal split tests.

What CRO includes

🔬

Conversion Research & Audit

We instrument analytics, heatmaps and session recordings, then map your funnel step by step to find exactly where visitors hesitate, get confused or drop off — so the work targets real friction, not guesses.

A/B & Multivariate Testing

Prioritized hypotheses turned into controlled experiments, run to statistical significance with no peeking. We keep what proves itself and document what doesn’t, so every change is earned, not assumed.

Landing Page Optimization

Sharper message match, a stronger above-the-fold, clearer hierarchy and a single obvious call to action — rebuilt so the page answers the visitor’s question before they bounce.

Form & Checkout Optimization

Fewer fields, smarter validation, visible progress and a frictionless checkout flow. Forms and carts are where the most leads and revenue quietly leak, and where small fixes pay back fastest.

Speed & UX for Conversion

Core Web Vitals, mobile usability and accessibility tuned for conversion. A slow or awkward page costs sales before persuasion ever gets a chance — we remove that tax across devices.

How CRO works

Research & Baseline

We set up clean tracking, gather quantitative and qualitative data, and pinpoint where your funnel loses people today — so we start from evidence, not opinion.

Hypothesis & Prioritization

Every idea is scored for expected impact, confidence and effort, so we work on the changes most likely to move revenue first rather than the loudest opinion in the room.

Design & Build the Test

We design the variant, write the copy, and instrument the experiment so the result is clean and attributable to a single change.

Run & Measure

The test runs until it reaches statistical significance — no early calls. You see a clear verdict: winner, loser or inconclusive, with the data behind it.

Implement & Iterate

Winners ship, learnings are documented, and the next highest-impact hypothesis enters the queue. CRO compounds because every cycle informs the next.

Traffic vs. Conversion

You can grow revenue two ways: bring more visitors, or convert more of the ones you already have. CRO is the second lever — and on traffic you already pay for, it is usually the cheaper one.

FAQ

What is the difference between CRO and SEO?
SEO and ads bring people to your website. CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) increases the share of those visitors who actually buy, book or enquire. They are complementary jobs: SEO grows the traffic, CRO grows the value of it. Many clients run both, and our CRO work layers cleanly on top of an existing SEO or marketing program.
Can you guarantee a specific increase in conversions?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. The result depends on your current baseline, traffic volume, offer and market. What we commit to is a rigorous, evidence-based process: we research real user behavior, test changes properly, and only keep variations that prove themselves with statistically significant data. We optimize the probability of meaningful gains — we do not invent a number to sell you.
How much traffic do I need for A/B testing?
A/B tests need enough conversions to reach statistical significance. As a rough rule, a few thousand visitors and a few hundred conversions per month per page make formal testing reliable. If your traffic is lower, we lead with research-driven best-practice fixes — heatmaps, session replay, UX and copy improvements — and introduce split testing once volume supports it. We will tell you honestly which stage you are in.
What tools do you use for CRO?
We use GA4 for analytics, heatmap and session-replay tools such as Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar, dedicated A/B testing platforms, and our own analytics and monitoring stack. We favor privacy-respecting, consent-aware setups so your tracking stays compliant while still giving us the data we need.
How is CRO actually measured?
We measure conversion rate, revenue per visitor and funnel completion, alongside the results of each experiment reported with its statistical significance. You get a regular report showing what we tested, what won or lost, and the cumulative impact on your key actions — so progress is transparent, not a black box.
How long until I see CRO results?
Research and the first round of best-practice fixes can improve a page within weeks. Tested, proven wins typically accumulate over a few months as experiments run to significance and compound. We report monthly so you see movement as it happens rather than waiting for one big reveal.
Is CRO only about A/B testing?
No. A/B testing is one tool. CRO also covers conversion research, UX and copy improvements, form and checkout fixes, page speed and trust-signal work. For lower-traffic sites where formal testing is not yet reliable, the research-led fixes are where most of the early value comes from.
Will CRO work with my existing website and platform?
Yes. We work on WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, Next.js and custom builds — CRO layers on top of what you already have. If we also built or maintain your site, implementing winning changes is faster, but it is not a requirement to start.
Is CRO worth it if I am already running ads?
Especially then. Every improvement in conversion rate lowers your effective cost per acquisition on traffic you are already paying for. Spending more on CRO often returns more than spending the same money on additional clicks, because you are getting more from every visitor instead of just buying more visitors.
